We all have fond memories of baking cookies with Mom as a child and you can carry on the tradition with these quick and easy, but really, really good cookies. There are only 4 ingredients, plus powdered sugar for topping, so there’ll be lots of time in the cookie making session for giggles and laughs.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Let the cream cheese and butter soften at room temperature. Combine the cream cheese, butter, and flour with hands to form a dough. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and flatten with a small flat-bottomed glass dipped in flour. Put a small amount of Fredericksburg Farms Old-Fashioned Strawberry Preserves in the middle of each round, and then fold the dough over to enclose the preserves and form a half-moon shape. Press edges with a fork to seal.
Place cookies on baking sheets and bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until lightly browned. Transfer cookies to a wire rack and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool before serving.
