Meet Our Chef

We’re happy as a deer in the rose bed to announce the newest member of our Fredericksburg Farms family.  Chef Terry Thompson-Anderson, herself a Fredericksburg resident, is concocting a whole collection of recipes using our all-natural products.  Terry graduated from one of those real fine chef schools on the East Coast and  has written five cookbooks, including the award-winning Texas on the Plate. Texas on the Plate This October, her latest book, The Texas Hill Country – A Food and Wine Lover’s Paradise, will be released.  She does consulting for restaurants all over the country, developing great menus for happy diners. She’s also the editor of a really awesome website that features all the best things in Texas – food, wine, and our great way of life in general, The Texas Food and Wine Gourmet.com.  We’re proud to have Terry – and we know you’ll be glad we hooked up with her when you visit our recipe page.  You’ll find dozens of recipes for everything from party food to down-home food, a few fancified dishes, and some downright sinfully good desserts.
