America 250
It really can’t be 50 years since we celebrated America’s Bicentennial…wasn’t 1976 only about 20 years ago? I am still amazed that our republic has remained strong, founded on core beliefs that have stood the test of time. The founding fathers did a remarkable job to design a government of the people, by the people and for the people that has lasted these last 250 years. They were faced with a huge task to create something new that would last long after these founders were themselves gone. They sacrificed time and treasure to sit in a hot airless chamber and work out the details not knowing whether the new government would last even one year, and here we are 250 years later. Thank you Founding Fathers, my hat is off to you all! There are not enough words to convey my gratitude. HAPPY 250th BIRTHDAY AMERICA!
