Back to School

School seems to start earlier and earlier each fall…it is mid-August and technically it is still Summer! The schools in our area start back this week and that is 3 weeks BEFORE Labor Day. When I was growing up school never started until after Labor Day. I realize the rationale from the schools is that students regress during the summer, and teachers have to begin the year re-teaching concepts from the year before ergo the summer break should be shorter. So start your students off on the right foot, choose a great gift for those dedicated teachers.
