Celebrate Mom!

Randye and Mom

Mother’s Day is May 10th this year and if you are fortunate enough to have a mom figure in your life you might want to celebrate her. My own mama has been singing in the angel choir since 2014, and I think of her almost every day and still wish I could pick up a phone and give her a call. Families today often are separated by miles but more frequently this distance of separation is not measured in miles but rather in hard feelings, angst, and real and perceived pain. Moms were put on earth to give us life and teach us the ways to live on this planet. Sometimes those plans go awry, and families fracture. It is my belief that with prayer and effort those fractures can be healed.  Hope for better days and outcomes, it can start with a small step. So, this Mother’s Day tell your Mom figure that you care, because one day her chair at the table will be empty. Happy Mother’s Day MOM! Love you always!
