Does FALL inspire your cooking?

cast iron skillet cooking on a fire

Once Labor Day passes, I often feel more inclined to spend more time in the kitchen. Baking and roasting things in the oven somehow doesn’t sound like a hot day in the kitchen to be avoided at all costs. I am a big fan of cast iron cooking, especially using enamel coated cast iron pieces. We are working on a new recipe to share that involves cooking beef short ribs rubbed with one of our Fredericksburg Farms beef rubs. Which one to choose? I guess we will need to make the dish several times using the different rubs. I plan to start with Chisolm Trail Beef Rub. Check back and we’ll let you know how it turned out.
