Hill Country Flood Relief

Hill Country Flood

Very ironically, my original blog for this week that I wrote a few weeks ago was about happy memories of times spent at summer camp. It is no longer a subject that I can share today. In light of the unspeakable tragedy that occurred in the Texas Hill Country which experienced catastrophic flooding and loss of life on July 4, including young girls from a summer camp, I want to call out to everyone to send help to those communities and individuals in need. Please consider sending aid in the form of monetary donations to the organizations listed below with links to their websites. I urge you to support every fundraising event that you can in the next weeks and months. It will take a long time for these communities and businesses to recover and perhaps a lifetime for the families whose lives have been shattered to come to terms with what has happened. And, most importantly, I also ask you to pray not only for those who experienced loss but also for the army of volunteers and first responders assisting with recovery efforts, as their lives will be forever changed by what they have seen. I thank you for your help and for your prayers, God bless you! Together we are TEXAS STRONG!

How you can help:
