The calendar says it is the end of July

The calendar says it is the end of July, but my mind tells me it is time to Christmas shop! I have always been a firm believer in shopping early for Christmas presents. When my husband and I travelled we kept an eye out for things we could get for our children and grands and sometimes each other. I often get home with a suitcase filled with presents tucked in everywhere. I try to wrap those presents as soon as possible and then hide them away. The trick is remembering where they are stashed when it’s time to put them under the tree. My better half struggled to remember where he had hidden things for me. It makes me smile to remember him looking not so stealthily and then asking me offhandedly if I had seen a bag or box of a certain size or color. Thanks to modern technology I now set myself a reminder with everyone’s “favorite” nosy personal assistant whose name begins and ends with “A.” It is a successful plan so far. So get shopping my friends…Christmas will be here before you know it!
