Veterans Day
November 11th is Veterans Day, and it is the one day a year we set aside to specifically honor all veterans of the armed forces of the United States. Be they living or dead, these individuals said yes to the call to serve our country whether in times of war or peace. My family has veterans from the Revolutionary War to the 21st century. My dad served in the Navy and my stepdad and uncles served in the Army. More recently, our son in law served in the Army and was deployed twice to Iraq while our daughter in law is a Navy veteran having served in Hawaii and Japan. I am very proud of and grateful for their dedication to preserving liberty for those of us safe at home. Happy Veterans Day and thank you!
