Mustang or Muscadine grape? The muscadine is a lighter colored grape, more of a red, and a larger grape that produces a jelly the color of a fine red wine. The mustang, on the other hand, is darker, smaller and deep purple more than red.

We grew up canning everything. Memories of picking wild mustang grapes on the side of the road or lake Austin out of the boat. When Mom stopped making it we all were left without it till now. This is as close to Moms as we have found. Very happy... But if you could try a batch that was straight Mustang grape or at least higher percentage mustang grape you would have hands down the most unique best tasting grape jelly that says WOW.
