Final Exams are Approaching
Fredericksburg Farms

Back in August when schools started back after summer break it seemed that end of year activities and final exams were eons away. Well, those things happen next month both for colleges and high schools. When our own kids were in high school and college, I used to fix up snack packs to make the study time more pleasant. When they went to college, I shipped them stuff. Here at Fredericksburg Farms, we have some ideas to help you let them know you are thinking of them and make those study hours more enjoyable. Order something from us for your...
Easter
Fredericksburg Farms

Easter is approaching this weekend. Christians worldwide will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with special religious observations. The true meaning of Easter, like Christmas, has somehow gotten lost in commercialization. For me Easter means realizing that we daily have the opportunity to choose eternal life by simply choosing Jesus as our Lord. The ongoing question in the Hill Country is…will it ever rain again, followed up by WILL WE HAVE BLUEBONNETS this year? I was fortunate to see bluebonnets along the roadsides south of San Antonio as I drove back from a trip to Port Aransas. I haven’t seen any around me back at home but I did spot a few growing in some yards in town. With the ongoing drought who knows if we will see a carpet of blue along the roads and in pastures. Getting bluebonnets to germinate is an interesting proposition because their seed coats are of different...

Fredericksburg Farms

One year ago today, life changed forever for me and for all of us at Fredericksburg Farms when my husband, business partner, and co-owner of this business lost his life in an accident. This has been a year of change and of many firsts but we are moving forward, and look forward to a spring season as we introduce some exciting new products. We are eagerly trialing new product ideas and everyone here on staff has been working hard to move us forward. The dedication of this fine group of people makes me proud and inspires me to do my...
